Karen Fleming-Caplette

Hello and welcome! I am glad you are here. The first step to meaningful change is exactly what you are doing now which is seeking support in a therapeutic setting. My name is Karen and I am a counseling intern slated to graduate with my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University in August 2025. My background includes settings of  healthcare and spirituality, and I am moving into a new phase of my own life. I am a person who deeply cares about helping others like you discover the strength you have within you, learn new coping skills, navigate life's challenges, and reach for a hope-filled future. I am currently working with individual clients from pre-teen to early adulthood.

I approach therapy from a person-centered orientation utilizing aspects of narrative therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and solution-focused therapy. Each client is a unique human being with goals specific to their life circumstances and your experience of therapy will be tailored to suit your needs. My goal is to accompany you on your journey from the present to what you consider meaningful growth. I am here to create a safe, open, and affirming environment where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, needs, and goals. I believe we all have the capacity to grow and change throughout life, and I am privileged to see my clients through the process. I hope to hear from you soon.
