I believe it is an honor for clients to invite me into their lives to build a collaborative, respectful and trusting relationship as we make the journey to achieving your goals and life changes.
I have a dual master's degree in clinical social work and mental health counseling. My therapy approach is client centered, collaborative, and empowering. I am skilled in a variety of evidence-based brief therapies including a specialization in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), which is highly effective for a range of trauma intensities as well as for anxiety, depression and other disorders. I have extensive training in the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. I have been effective utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), talk therapy, mindfulness, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) informed, and integrating therapy approaches to meet the individual needs of each client. As an effective therapist the foundation of my therapy style is strength-based, non-judgmental and self-empowering approaches.
For the past eight years, I have been providing individual therapy using a variety of evidenced-based therapy approaches with adults aged 18 throughout the life span. Additionally, while I no longer work with children and families, I have many years of experience working with both in a variety of therapeutic and social work settings, providing a strong foundation for my current work with adults.
I am passionate about my work as a therapist and welcome the opportunity to walk with you on your path of healing and enhancing your life satisfaction.
