Caroline Nickerson
As the saying goes, "when life gives you lemons, make lemonade."
Embracing this notion can often feel straightforward, as we strive to accept both the highs and lows that life offers. Yet, there are moments when facing the sourness of life isn't as simple. This is where therapy can offer valuable support. Through my practice, I employ Acceptance and Commitment Therapy alongside other approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. Together, we create a safe environment to navigate and address life's challenges head-on.
In my role as a social worker, I offer counseling to clients aged 13 and older, addressing a broad range of challenges, such as anxiety, depression, stress, and interpersonal conflicts. Additionally, I have a particular focus and passion for supporting perinatal mental health. I find great fulfillment in working with expecting clients and those in the postpartum period, offering guidance and support through the various stages of perinatal care.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of New Hampshire in 2023. I am a pre-licensed clinician, working towards my LICSW, practicing with the supervision of Lori Lonsdale, LCMHC.
