Cara Brewer

Hello! I’m Cara, a clinical therapist intern completing my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at New England College. Are you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about how to move forward? I work with adults, teens, and couples navigating life’s challenges—from addiction to relationship struggles to serious mental health concerns like bipolar disorder and depression. My approach is collaborative, warm, and solutions-oriented. I don’t believe therapy is just a place to vent—though we can absolutely do that, too. I believe it's a space to be supported, gently challenged, and empowered to make meaningful changes in our lives.

I draw from evidence-based, person-centered modalities including mindfulness and somatic work, cognitive behavioral therapies, and solution-focused techniques. Whether you're working through a major transition, managing symptoms of a serious mental illness, or trying to change long standing patterns, we'll build a plan together that aligns with your values, goals, and strengths.

I offer both in-person and telehealth sessions and am passionate about holistic wellness and sustainable behavior change. If you're ready to take that next step toward growth and healing, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
