Peggy (she/hers/her) is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with degrees from the University of Utah and the University of Maine. She brings in narrative work with a CBT lens and a focus on wellness for managing anxiety, depression, social stress, and unhelpful thinking patterns. Particular areas of interest are women’s issues, stress management, self-esteem issues, athletic focus, relationship issues, spirituality/religion, and managing sensory overload and isolative issues. She bases her approach on individual need and individual goals, with an emphasis on helping clients find their undiscovered strengths.

I received my Masters in Social Work from the University of Utah in 1993 and my Masters in Fine Arts at Southern New Hampshire University in 2008. I have worked in private practice, university settings, outpatient community health, psychiatric care/assessment centers, and nature-based residential care settings for over 25 years.

Therapy is a confidential safe space to heal and grow. It takes courage to take the first step into the wilderness and it takes courage to take the first step into identifying a stuck place and seeking help. Therapy can be utilized as a guide to finding your own sense of self in this world.
