Laurie Doucette
Laurie is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and Master Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor. She earned her Master’s degree in Social Work at the University of New Hampshire in 2007 and has been working in the mental health field ever since. She utilizes a variety of treatment modalities based on client-centered care including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and the Stages of Change when working with individuals to meet their goals. Laurie works with adults and has experience working with individuals with Substance Use Disorder, Depression, Anxiety and Trauma. She is also certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia and Cognitive Processing Therapy for trauma, both evidence-based practices. She enjoys group work, too and loves art, music and crafts of all kinds.
