Shelley McGlone CMHC Intern

"True well-being connects both physical and emotional health. I provide a safe, compassionate space where you can feel heard, build on your strengths, and create meaningful life changes."

How I Can Help

  • I help individuals navigate life’s pressures by combining a compassionate counseling approach with a strong foundation in healthcare and physical wellness. Whether you are adjusting to major life changes, processing grief, or seeking relief from stress and low mood, we will work together at your own pace without judgment.

Core Practice Areas

  • Depression, Anxiety & Mood Disorders: Practical strategies to manage overwhelming thoughts, regulate stress and restore balance.
  • Life Transitions & Identity: Support through major life shifts, personal identity exploration and finding your direction.
  • Grief & Loss Therapy: A safe, supportive space to process loss, navigate painful emotions and heal.
  • Feminist Therapy: An empowering, collaborative framework that honors your personal lived experience and individual agency.

My Approach & Background

  • With 20 years of experience in healthcare and 5 years as a CrossFit coach, I bring a grounded, practical understanding of how physical and emotional health impact one another. As a counselor-in-training at New England College, my goal is to build authentic, collaborative relationships where you feel accepted, valued, and empowered to grow.
